The OnePlus 6 Android flagship is now available for purchase in India, having already debuted on the local version of Amazon starting at Rs. 34,999, or the equivalent of $513. The more premium variant of the device with 128GB of storage space and 8GB of RAM will set consumers back Rs. 39,999, i.e. some $586. The Mirror Black and Midnight Black color options can be bought as of right now and should start shipping momentarily, whereas the Silk White variant is scheduled to be released on June 5. Consumers interested in purchasing the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory won’t be able to choose between different avatars as only the Mirror Black one is being offered alongside that configuration.

The Avengers Edition of the OnePlus 6 will also be making its way to India on May 29, priced at Rs. 44,999, or roughly $660. All prices in India are in line with those attached to the newly launched phablet lineup in other parts of the world, with consumers in the South Asian country also being eligible for an Rs. 2,000 ($30) cashback through SBI debit cards. Eight pop-up stores are starting their operations throughout India as of today, being set to open in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. Ordered units will start shipping no later than tomorrow, though the pop-up stores in question will already be offering the OnePlus 6 as of today, both in India and many other parts of the world.

Originally announced last week, the OnePlus 6 is the most powerful smartphone ever released by the Shenzhen, China-based mobile company, boasting Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chip said to offer an unprecedented level of performance and energy efficiency. The device features a 6.28-inch display panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio which comes down to an 18:9 (2:1) image format when not accounting for the screen cutout at the top. A dual-camera setup is also part of the package, sporting a 20-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel one, with the display notch of the OnePlus 6 housing another 16-megapixel module. The OnePlus 6 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based OxygenOS and is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.
