The Anfield outfit’s No.1 left Reds fans baffled with a blundering tweet on the eve of tomorrow’s crunch Man Utd clash.
The German stopper posted a preview video on Friday night of the big Premier League match with the words: “Game day”.
The 24-year-old usually posts such tweets on the morning of a match, but posted this a day before the huge match at Old Trafford.
It prompted an outpouring of hilarious replies from Liverpool fans, with many dubbing their 24-year-old keeper a “time traveller”.
One wrote “he time travelled” and another said “Loris Karius is so good that he time travelled to tomorrow, what a guy”.
And one person simply put it “tomorrow Loris, tomorrow”, while another user said: “While you’re in the future can you tell us how much we’ll win by”.
On the pitch the once-heavily criticised keeper has been pulling off improved performances of late.
They have enabled him to leapfrog Simon Mignolet as Liverpool’s number one.
He is set to start tomorrow in the 12.30pm kick-off, as he hopes to help Liverpool go second with victory at United.
